OUR STORY

Our restaurant continues to proudly serve our local Westhampton Beach community, just as our beloved Chef Joe envisioned when he opened the doors in 1983.

Joe Milo was trained at the Culinary Institute of America, in Hyde Park, New York. After graduation, he traveled and cooked in boutique restaurants across the country exploring the regional cuisines of America - New England Steakhouses and Seafood, New Orleans Cajun, Austin Tex-Mex, and BBQ across the Carolinas and the South. He then worked in Hospitality & Restaurant Corporations in Dallas before returning to Westhampton in 1981, purchased the site at 240 Montauk Hwy, and renovated for 2 years before opening Milo's East Restaurant Bar and Grill in 1983.

As the town of Westhampton evolved over the years, so did the business. In 2006, Joe upgraded the property, menu, and concept, and rebranded as Joe's American Grill, an upscale American Cuisine Restaurant and Bar, perfect for any occasion - a romantic date night, family outing, or casual food and drinks 7 nights a week.

Joe's offers signature dishes, classic appetizers and entrees, and daily specials using the freshest seasonal ingredients. Delicious, quality food that people know and love is what we focus on.
